Romantica y Divertida
Very sweet romantic comedy from Argentina
When struggling artist Reinaldo (Guillermo Francella) meets aspiring actress/model Tati (Araceli González) the attraction is immediate and mutual. However, each is a bit over anxious to impress the other. He introduces himself as Roy, freelance photographer for Vogue, National Geographic, etc. She introduces herself as Brenda, a super model who is seldom at home in Buenos Aires because she's usually off on shoots in Paris or San Moritz.
After the initial meeting they are both desperate to reconnect but, due to the usual run of circumstances beyond their control, they can't manage it. He loses her number. She calls him, but he's had to move from that apartment. They don't even know each others' real names.
Francella has to be the most endearing actor I've seen in over a decade. His characters always come across as sincere and just...likeable. González, a former Argentine super model turned actress herself, is absolutely charming. You find...
Not that funny
I was expecting this to be a really funny movie but it wasn't. I guess it's ok if you just want a romantic movie but I was comparing it to "Papa se volvio loco" which was hilarious.
